Lymph nodes present in common areas such as the neck, axilla, groin can swell and increase in size. This occurs due a response from the body to infection, inflammation and malignancy. Swellings in these areas can present as sarcomas but it is important haematological malignancy such as lymphoma is ruled out. A tissue diagnosis is usually required.
